There is a place where you can work, and at the same time enjoy the surf, sun, ocean, and healthy food. A place where you can fulfill every day to the maximum. You can surf, dive, practice yoga, and do a bunch of other activities, at any time of the year. You can meet ambitious and interesting like-minded people, exchange ideas, learn something new, and at the same time relax and just have fun.
In the last few years, there is an unstoppable global trend of change in a way of working. The rise of co-working spaces and the increase in the number of freelancers and new companies whose complete teams are distributed shows that it is very important where and with whom you are working, and that the working environment can have a positive impact on your productivity and creativity. The number of people who go to workations is constantly raising and digital nomads are traveling to various exotic destinations around the world and at the same time working from any place with an internet connection. All of them in some way try to achieve the much-desired work-life balance, simultaneous work efficiency, and quality of life.
We have decided to combine co-working and coliving with surfing, beautiful Fuerteventura, sun, mild climate, and surf house with pool at the Surf&Work camp in the Canary Islands. In the last few years, this is our way of life and work, and we want to present it to you, it would be a shame if other people do not enjoy it too.
What kind of people attend Surf&Work camp?
It is suited for all freelancers, start-ups at various stages, employees from companies who can work remotely for some period of time, and entrepreneurs who do not have time to travel to the classic holidays… Whether you’re working on some new strategy, coding a new web, designing or planning to launch new services or products, working on the sunny island in the heart of the Atlantic will have a positive effect on your concentration and productivity. If you are an employee in a company, maybe your whole team needs one workation where you would be able to focus on a project and then after work together catch some nice waves and enjoy the beaches of Fuerteventura.
What is the idea of Surf&Work camp?
Anyone can organize their time according to their needs. You can work in a co-working space which is 10 minutes of walk away from the surf house. You will have access to co-working space 24/7 during your stay, but it is also possible to work in the surf house or in one of the various coffee shops in Corralejo. We have three different packages which include one, three, or six days of surf school per week, depending on how intense do you want to work or surf. If you want more activities, Corralejo offers various possibilities such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, volcano trekking, scuba diving, sailing, golf, bike or longboard rent, and similar.
What is included in the package and which options exist?
- 7 nights of accommodation in a surf house
- 6 days of the entrance to co-working space
- 3 options of surf schools intensity: 6, 3 or 1 day of surf school held on English language (beginners, intermediate or advanced courses)
- transfer to the surf spots with a surf van
- complete equipment included (surfboard, wetsuit, leash, booties if needed)
- photos from surf lessons
- free Wi-Fi in the surf house
FLIGHT TICKETS:
There are numerous flight options to Fuerteventura with low-cost airlines like Ryanair or Easyjet. Tickets mostly cost around 100-250€ for return flights from Europe, depending on the time of your purchase. A solid number of major European cities like London, Liverpool, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, Milan, and others are directly connected with the island. DATES:
We have prepared 12 weeks of Surf&Work program in 2024, from the 23rd of March to the 20th of April and from the 9th of November to the 7th of December. Arrivals and departures are on Saturdays and it is possible to choose between a stay of 7 or 14 nights.
PRICES:
All options of the package include 7 nights of accommodation in the surf house and weekly entrance to the co-working space, they differ just in the number of days of surfing (six, three, or one day of surf school). The price for Surf&Work camp with included six days of surf school is 545€, with three days of surf school 414€, and with one day 325€. Of course, it is possible to stay longer than one week and we suggest that option for better learning of your surfing skills. We have special discounts for the case if you stay 14 or more nights, depending on the length of your stay.
EXTRAS:
- transfer to/from the airport on Fuerteventura – 15€/person/way for 2 or more persons, 25€ per way for one person
- breakfast – 5€/day
- volcano trip – 15€ (minimum of 3 persons)
- half day trip around the northern part of the island – 30€ (minimum of 3 persons)
CO-WORKING SPACE
Co-working space is located near the port, and you can walk to it from the surf house in 10 minutes or even less with a bicycle or longboard. It can accommodate up to 15 co-workers, and besides work desks, there is also a meeting room and a space for events and workshops, in which you can have a coffee, relax or socialize with the rest of the co-workers. Shortly, the co-working space includes:

Once when your booking is completed, we will contact you will get further instructions about the downpayment and purchase of airline tickets. When booking, please write down the email that you use the most often because most communications will take place by email. In the case of filling up all capacities, the person who sent the downpayment first has priority. Please don’t forget to read the General Terms & Conditions and specify whether you agree in your application.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
The deadline for downpayment for all weeks is 14 days before the beginning of your week. Until that date, you need to pay a deposit in the amount of 150€.
